The past 11 weeks have been the most challenging time of my entire life. Both good and well...not so good. My journey started in Hebrews chapter 11 and 11 weeks later I am finally finished, and boy was my faith transformed!!
From day one up until yesterday I have learned so many incredible things,
1. FAITH leads to obedience and the promise is worth the pursuit.
2. FAITH leads to commitment, you are invested and are effected if it fails.
3. FAITH leads to fulfillment, God said He would do something, so remain FAITHFUL.
4. By FAITH I am His daughter.
5.Be FAITHFUL to the end, if my eye are off Jesus, I loose focus.
6. Through FAITH it was accomplished. A FAITH nurtured by victory!
7. What I go through (good or bad) is in the name of FAITH.
8. Am I habitually inconsistent with my FAITH in God?
Are you beginning to see the pattern of what my spirit has been opened to?
Am I FAITHFUL to Christ? No. I strive to be, but I fail over and over. But the most humbling part of this all is that HE REMAINS FAITHFUL! When we face trials, when we face the impossible we must say, OKAY GOD, Lets roll. Take this life from me and give me Jesus! There is only one hero in life and His name is Jesus.
So many men and women of the Bible no matter what came their way remained FAITHFUL, not focusing on themselves or what they had to gain, or their reputation. But rather they focused on Christ and the Eternal. If the Bible was still being written, would your story be in there? Are you faithful enough to Christ that it would be written about as to set an example?
My life will always change, I will fail, I will go through trials...But God is unchanging, He is my treasure and what I go through I take courage knowing that it is for His glory, for His Kingdom, for His Purpose and NOT MINE, NOT YOURS, NOT ANYONE but HIS!
We need to learn to let go and let God. Have Faith and take Courage in the very being and character of God. Instead of talking things out in your head and seeking the knowledge of flesh, go to Jesus.
As it says in Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus".
I hope you walk away encouraged with what Christ has shown me. And I pray that we would strive to have a great FAITH, to rise up to the calling and remain FAITHFUL as He REMAINS FAITHFUL IN US.
